The product works well with minimal noise or interference. My use so far says it is a "5". I have several other members in our Good Sam group who are planning to buy new antennas and they have asked for your address.
Thanks for a good product.

Antenna Kit (Stock #LG3-M2-B) for installation and use on a Class A motor
home. I recommend reading the instructions very thoroughly, then read
them again, in addition to watching the video provided on the Web site.
I was fortunate enough to remove the interior cowling located above the
driver's door and have sufficient working space. After careful
measurement I was able to cut into the interior wall using a Roto-Zip
tool (a small router), and remove the "plug" which consisted of the
interior wall paneling and the styrofoam insulation. Unfortunately I
encountered a welded aluminum angle brace which is part of the motor home
wall framing.
After measuring once again I was able to cut the second access
successfully, and reinstalling the first plug. If I were to do this
again I would recommend using a small drill bit to probe the wall from
the interior of the RV for any obstructions being very careful not to
puncture the exterior fiberglass wall.
Calibrating the antenna using a SWR meter proved to be a huge success,
even though it took me several attempts working by myself.
I would rate this product as a 5+. It just doesn't get any better!

exposed was very close. I use channel 19 mostly. It was installed on a R. V. and have not had unit out to test. Great instructions on how to install. Rate at 5 if communications are OK after test.

Works as a base antenna

After I read your very helpful installation articles, I successfully installed my Firestik NGP antenna.
I have the antenna mounted on the side of the roof of my house. I have it hooked up to my handheld Cobra CB. It works really well. I can even receive an additional weather channel that I couldn't hear before. I am now checking out your mobile CB's and power supplies so I can set up a base station.
Thank you very much for your help and great service.
