Very strong magnet, works great!

I've had this for a month. And it will hold almost any antenna with no problem! I've ran a predator 10k 9 inch and a 102 inch whip on top of a car and at almost 90mph they did not move or fall off. It works just as advertised very strong and it takes a crow bar to remove it! It'll take a lot of strength to remove this with just your hands. This product is very useful if you don't want to drill a hold for those large open coiled antennas.

This mount will stay on at high speeds in a wind storm!

I bought this as my last effort to find a mount that wouldn't blow off the roof of my truck. I run a heavy fiberglass antenna and it's always below off the back at highway speeds. I just returned from a trip out West where the speed is 75+ mph. Even during 85 mph speed and heavy crosswinds it didn't even try to loosen up. I am very happy with this mount.

I've had this mount for a few weeks now and used it on top of my truck with a fiberglass antenna. On occasion it's taken out low hanging branches driving around town, the mount just laughs at them and the antenna doesn't budge. When out wheelin' my rig, the antenna stays on no problems. This was exactly the type of magnetic mount I've been looking for. Sure it's a little overkill, but hey, that's what I needed. :-) (Posted on August 7, 2012)

This tripod has not moved an inch since I installed it 3 weeks ago. It is holding up a 5 foot Firestik II. So far so good! The coax quality seems a little “el cheapo” but does not seem to be a problem yet. So far, it has performed well and I am satisfied with this heavy duty tripod. (Posted on January 30, 2013)

If you need a Magnet Mount for a Antenna that will stay up there. THIS IS IT!

If you need a very heavy duty magnet mount that will hold up to 100 mph speeds ( No, I do not want you to test it. Just please take my word on this!) LOOK NO FURTHER! We ordered this after we got a 4 foot Firestik Firefly and had a different magnet mount in mind to use it with but I just did not get a "solid feeling" that at highway speeds, it would stay up there right where I put it, so I ordered Right Channel Radios' Triple Magnet CB Antenna Mount. Just unwrapping it from the box, I knew this is just what I needed. This is a SOLID and very strong magnet mount. This Magnet Mount is so strong that if something tries to knock off the 4 foot Firestik Flrefly, the roof will come with it!

Strong mount, not so strong coax connector.

The three magnets hold strong to the vehicle. I ran a Monkey Made (MM-9) and the connector sheared in half going down the expressway. Watching a $75.00 antenna bounce off the ground at 70mph is not a good feeling. I contacted Right Channel Radios and they sent me a stronger mount, a heavy duty acorn stud, a new coax cable, and a new antenna. No problems as of yet; the mount is so strong that it has slightly bent the antenna but the mount has not failed. I gave it 4 stars because of the awesome customer service. (Posted on May 18, 2013)

Well, was a good mount until the paint on the T bar disappeared and it turned copper colored and the pl290 connector was complete junk. Other than that works like a charm!
