CB Antennas

What You Should Know:

Crucial for Range: The antenna is the MOST important component in terms of your transmit and receive range! All CBs transmit with the same power, so it's the antenna that makes the difference. Also, the longer the antenna Show More...
-- and the higher it's mounted -- the better your range.

Types & Mounting: The ideal antenna and mounting location will vary by vehicle, but here are a few general recommendations: Cars & SUVs-> magnetic. Trucks-> magnetic or fiberglass. Jeeps and off-road-> fiberglass. Semi trucks-> fiberglass or center-load. RVs-> no-ground plane. For more detailed guidance, please see Choosing the Best CB Antenna.

  1. K40 CB Antenna - 58" Trunk Lip Mount

    K40 Trunk Lip CB Antenna

    $69.95

The K40 CB antenna is built to last, performs well and is the most versatile antenna we sell! It can be attached to a trunk lip for a secure, but easily removable installation. Remove the trunk-lip adapter, and the antenna can be permanently installed on the vehicle's roof (see pictures). The antenna's twist-to-remove feature allows the antenna to separate at the base, which is incredibly convenient when entering low-clearance areas or for temporary antenna storage. Not only is the K40 versatile, it also offers great transmit and receive performance.

  2. Francis Pre Tuned CB Antenna

    Francis Pre-Tuned CB Antenna

    $17.95

These Francis antennas come pre-tuned, so you're more likely to get great performance straight out of the box! While these antennas don't usually require tuning, it's important to test SWR to ensure safe operation levels. Lack of a ground plane or other issues unrelated to antenna length can cause high SWR levels and may potentially damage radio equipment if not corrected. Learn More
  3. Astatic "Through-The-Glass" CB Antenna Kit

    Basic Through-the-Glass CB Antenna Kit

    $27.95

This through-the-glass CB antenna kit has a low profile, resembles a cellular booster antenna and is incredibly easy to install. However, its small size is the trade-off for an extremely limited range. The small wire whip should provide enough range to communicate with the friends you're caravanning with 50 yards away, but not much more. If it's possible to mount a standard 3' or 4' CB antenna, your range will be greatly increased. If not, this kit is a perfect solution, so long as your friends don't get too far ahead.Note: Antenna may differ slightly from picture. Learn More
