Works Great with 3' Firestik

I mounted a 3' Firestik antenna on the hood of my '98 Ford Explorer and needed this spring to accomodate the lip of the garage door. It works well and flexes easily. (Written 4/21/2009) (Posted on December 14, 2011)

Perfect!

I used this piece on a 2000 Camaro with a Firestik quick release and a 2' Firestik FS above it. The spring provides a good amount of movement which will protect the mount but it is rigid enough that the antenna is not waving around as I drive. (Posted on January 18, 2013)

Great mounting quality.

This spring is mounted on my '07 FJ Cruiser with a quick release and 3' Firefly antenna. The spring works great and I have had no problems with interception in transmitting. In the end I really like this spring and would definitely recommend it. (Posted on February 7, 2013)

Don't Use with 4' Antennas

Not strong enough for the 4 foot Firestiks on my Jeep. I thought the mediums would be strong enough but I had to order the stronger Firestik springs. Quality is a five but I give three stars because they were not the right ones for me. (Written 7/30/2010) (Posted on December 14, 2011)

Too Weak for 4 Foot

I ordered two 4 foot Firesticks for my Jeep; one CB and one for 2-meter. The antenna mount is behind the spare tire. Probably for 3 foot and under these would be great but just not stiff enough for the 4 foot. The antennas angle back 35 degrees at 70mph. (Written 7/30/2010) (Posted on December 14, 2011)
