Voltage drop or signal drop in this case is not a problem. These are quality cables. I refuse to install a short primary cable and then a secondary extension cable as every time you introduce a splice in the circuit you degrade the signal somewhat. With these cables that is not necessary. (Posted on May 16, 2012)
