I picked this up for a CB whip I modified for the 10 meter ham band. I have the antenna mounted outside. So far this stud works fine. Great service by the way! I will be back if I need any more CB items for my ham radio projects. (Posted on February 5, 2013)

Great product!

This stud mount is used with the bandi mount for my '07 FJ Cruiser along with a medium spring and quick disconnect which are hooked up to a 3' Firefly antenna. I have had no problems with reception or transmitting. In the end I really like this stud and would definitely recommend it. (Posted on February 7, 2013)
