Pros: Fits well under hood, no drilling required, stainless steel, won’t corrode. Cons, instructions should say not to put it on the passenger side, the AM/FM antenna caused interference with the CB antenna, this was realized when tuning the Firestik.

Great mount

I used this to mount my CB antenna above the tail light on my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee. The only issue I had with it is that you have to solder the connector to the coax. If you don't know how to solder then just get the mount and buy a separate coax cable. (Posted on August 2, 2012)

I mounted this on the fender of my 98 Dodge. The fact that it uses fender bolts keeps it extremely stable and the bend in the mount is the exact curve of the fender, so it looks natural. Agree with Gunrunner comments above that the connector had to be soldered to the coax. I wasn't expecting that and it wasn't a challenge for me, but I can see where someone with "plug & play" mentality might be taken off guard. (Posted on August 8, 2012)

This mount was very easy to install on my 03 Dakota. All necessary hardware is included; all you need is a 13mm wrench. Just simply remove the fender bolt, place the mount over the hole and re-insert the bolt. It's that simple! I'm very happy with the way this turned out. I have a 4 ft firestick 2 FS antenna with a heavy duty spring that keeps it from swaying all over like my old Wilson 1000 magnet mounted to the roof. This is definitely worth it if you are a hard core CB'er! (Posted on January 17, 2013)

I mounted this on my 2001 Dodge and it is perfect for what I do. I mounted it one fender lug farther towards the front of the truck to keep SWR lower. I mounted a 4' Firestik II on this mount and my SWR tuned out lower than the antenna was predicted to by Firestik. (Posted on February 12, 2013)
