The FME (For Mobile Equipment) ends allows the PL-259s to unscrew, making installation, drilling and cable routing MUCH simpler, as the cable head diamater is reduced from 3/4" to 3/8". Built from RG-59 coax, the cable is 95% shielded for improved signal performance and uses a stranded center for increased durability.
