Originally created by Bandi of FJCruiserForums.com, the Bandi Mount has become one of the most popular ways to mount a CB antenna to 2007 and newer Toyota FJ Cruisers. The mount requires no drilling, and installation is fast and simple: The mount bolts onto the existing rear door hinge. Installing a CB antenna on your FJ couldn't be easier! Please note that this mount does not include a CB antenna stud, so you'll need to purchase the stud separately.

Recommended for:	Achieving a clean, factory-style install on 2007 and newer Toyota FJ Cruisers. We recommend using a ring-style coax cable with the Bandi Mount, as its smaller profile works best in the confined underside of the mount.
Compatible with:	All 2007 and newer FJ Cruisers. Once combined with an antenna stud, the mount will support all fiberglass and center-load antennas that use a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded base.
Installation Notes:	We recommend using the Fire-Stik FireRing coax cable with this mount, as its smaller profile works best in the confined underside of the mount. Also, the mount is powder coated to prevent it from grounding. You'll need to scrape off some of the powder coating where the mount touches both the frame and the antenna stud in order to achieve a proper ground for your antenna. Failure to do so will prevent your CB antenna from functioning properly and will likely result in high SWR. I am leading a couple of trails at the FJ Summit in Ouray, Colorado this summer and they required me to have a CB radio in my vehicle. An FJ forum told me about a special antenna adaptor for my FJ Cruiser along with a list of recommended equipment needed so I started searching there. Right Channel Radios came up in the search. I checked them and they had everything on the list.

Since I'm new to CB's, I wrote to them asking them to review my order to make sure I have everything I need. Kay wrote back and said everything looked good, but I'd left out the antenna. She recommended one and would try to add it to my order. I told her to go ahead, but they were too fast and had already shipped the order. She sent it separately, shipping it free.

A couple of days later she sent me a link to valuable information on everything I needed to know about install, usage, etc.

I very much appreciate all of the help Right Channel Radios has given me and this is one of the best experienced I've had on the internet. (Posted on March 28, 2013)

When I got this mount my first impression was that it was going to be excellent. While installing, I had a little bit of trouble getting the screw through my '07, but eventually got it really tight. The only problem I had is that it sways a little and the screw to mount it with is a little rusty on the head; and a couple mm to long so that it runs into the actual trunk. But neither of these are too important. In the end, I really like this mount and would definitely recommend it. (Posted on February 7, 2013)
