Product Description

This complete CB antenna mounting kit includes everything you need for a dual CB antenna install except the radio! This package from Astatic includes two Black Magic antennas, two heavy-duty mirror mount and 9 feet of co-phased coax cabling. The mounts includes a standard PL-259 screw-on cable connector and have a standard 3/8" x 24 thread antenna mount. Choose from 2', 3' or 4' black or white antennas.

These antennas were used to replace a single antenna on a Mack Tri-axle dump truck. Coverage was poor with the single antenna, age had alot to do with the performance. Installation of the dual antennas and wiring harness was very fast and easy. I had to make no adjustments for the 40 channel CB operation finding that the VSWR on channel 20 was almost ideal. One thing that I was worried about was the cable length of 9 feet, not knowing if 9 foot of cable would be long enough for the mirror mounts. It was. The cable is 9 foot in each direction from the radio. I was in Radio Maintenance for 30 years before I retired and I can tell you that a cheaper antenna mounted correctly can give you as satisfactory performance as antennas costing much more. I would rate this product a 4 out of 5.

I recently bought the 3 ft dual cb antenna kit. It was shipped to my house in a day and nothing was damaged. They work really great. I recommend this product to others.
