Trunk-Lip - Firestik CB Antenna Mount

Firestik CB Antenna Mount: The trunk lip bracket slides over trunk edge (normally between the trunk deck and the rear window). Two set screws are tightened from the underside to hold the bracket in place. No holes are required on the vehicle. The rearward side of the bracket has support feet with rubber bumpers to protect the vehicle finish. The mount comes complete with a K-4 antenna stud and the allen wrench to tighten the set screws. Recommended for antennas up to 3ft (92cm).

Physically, the mount is 2" (50mm)wide and 2.5" (63mm) deep. It stands 1" (25mm) above the vehicle surface without the stud mount, which will add of 2.1" (53mm) when in place. The gap between the movable and unmovable areas (trunk deck and vehicle body) needs to be about 0.100" (3mm) to accomodate the mount. Furthermore, the underside requires about 0.5" (13mm) to accomodate the bottom of the bracket with set screws.
